This week for the #6 SGL Player Interview we chose Fnatic.Gretorp! We will talk about his recent tournament showings and what his goals are for MLG Dallas! Enjoy!
The Starcraft Gaming League's Weekly Player Interview is presented by ZOWIE GEARSGL:
Hello Gretorp! Welcome to the 6th SGL Player Interview and thanks for being with us! Tell us a little bit about yourself and your previous gaming experience.Fnatic.Gretorp
Hello there! It's a pleasure! My name's Andre Hengchua and I was formely a Starcraft 1 player, now playing Starcraft 2 at a competitive level and loving life! I'm trying ever so hard to get to a strong level and there's always room for improvement
SGL:
How do you think things have been going on in your SC2 experience so far? Are you happy with how things are going competitively?Fnatic.Gretorp:
Starcraft 2 is very tough, especially with patch changes that we didn't really see much of in Starcraft 1(After major patches). Obviously, this was forseen, however the patching causes major shifts in game play and reinvents the game to some extent for many of the different phases of the game. With my time, it's been tough to kee up, but thankfully with the help of some great friends and fnatic family, I've managed rather well

SGL:
You just had MLG DC this weekend, how do you feel about the result you achieved?Fnatic.Gretorp:
I'm definitely disappointed. I always know I can do much better, and one of these days it'll blossom. I think my nerves are still getting me at LANs.
SGL:
Do you plan on participating in MLG Dallas?Fnatic.Gretorp:
Yes I do, and I play on winning it too
SGL:
What would you set your goal as being two weeks away?Fnatic.Gretorp:
understand TvZ early game shifts into meta game. I think that's going to be the toughest hurdle right now, since there's been quite a dynamic change with the recent patch. The other matchups i'm fairly confident.
SGL:
I personally, really enjoy watching your shoutcasts and streams for GosuTV. What got you so interested in doing that?Fnatic.Gretorp:
Thank you! Well I just like helping out the community. I truly think the starcraft community is wonderful, and I don't take them for granted at all. Shoutcasting allows me to express my passion, and the beauty of Starcraft. I think my art is the ability to translate the depth of this complex game into analytical pieces, and I love to do it
SGL:
How are things going with FnaticMSI, everything on the team going strong?Fnatic.Gretorp:
FnaticMSI is getting stronger every day, and we plan on continuing that. FnaticMSI has my closest friends on the internet, and in real life. We're more a family than anything

SGL:
Is there any player you'd like to see join the ranks?Fnatic.Gretorp:
Yes, but I wouldn't want to mention names

! I'll save the politics for the managers hahaha ^^
SGL:
Well that will do it for today! Thanks so much for participating in the 6th SGL Player Interview! I'd like to thank our sponsors ZOWIEGEAR and BigFoot Networks! Do you have any shoutouts or add-ons to give before you go?
Fnatic.Gretorp:
Well you already mentioned them but thank you to BigFoot Networks as well! Also thank you to my other sponsors that support us: MSI, SLAPPA, Steelseries, and Ugame. A very special shout out to my fnatic boys

! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
And of course to you

Thank you!
